How You Can Play a Part

LOBBY DAY! February 15, 2012

WCSAP sits at the table with representatives from law enforcement, corrections, health systems, and other governmental and private organizations in addition to the Legislature. Your voices – the voices, stories and expertise of advocates and survivors across Washington State - are crucial to the success of our policy work.

There are many ways you can contribute to this important work:

• Use our Legislative tools:
  • Visit our Legislative Action Center. 
  • Sign-up for our Legislative Alerts & News,
    and then contact your legislators to make your voice heard.
  • Check our Legislative Alerts.
  • See the bills that WCSAP is tracking.
• Become a member. Participate in the Legislative Committee, and in other state-level coalition work.
• Contact us when something is happening locally that you think may be affecting other advocates and survivors across the state (or the country), or that you think could be resolved with some state-level influence.

Most of all, know that WCSAP is here to raise up the voices of advocates and survivors on the local level, and to connect our work to end sexual violence.
