WCSAP offers an online learning center and has developed a prevention orientation course. It is approximately 5 hours long and meets the orientation requirement for staff and supervisors at community sexual assault programs receiving OCVA funding.
The course is self-paced and is broken into five lessons. You'll find a variety of activities, attached readings, videos, and quizzes throughout the course. In order to receive credit you must complete the entire course and pass the quizzes. There is no time limit or limit to the number of times you can take each quiz. Once all quizzes are successfully completed you will be able to print a certificate of completion that should be retained for your agency records.
Our hope is that the course is user-friendly and contains great information. There is a feedback form available on the site, and we would appreciate any feedback, technical or content related, so we can continue to improve the course.
You'll find more information and instructions once you log into the online learning center. You can create an account and enroll in the course immediately by visiting http://learn.wcsap.org/
