Advocate Core Training

The Advocate Core training will provide intervention skills, understanding the underlying conditions that contribute to sexual violence, service delivery systems, legal and medical advocacy.  This training is ideal for new staff and volunteers of community sexual assault programs as well as other professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of sexual violence.

This 30-hour Advocate Core training program is designed to help new sexual assault advocates provide responsive and effective advocacy to survivors of sexual assault. This training meets the requirements outlined by the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy.

WCSAP will try to provide interpreter services for participants so please register by January 6th so they can try to support you at our training.
