This hands-on, highly interactive workshop will help facilitators learn both the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively facilitate and design psychoeducational support groups.  The workshop is divided into two sections. 

• The first section will help facilitators understand the characteristics of psycho-educational support groups, learn facilitator fundamentals and group dynamics. 
• The second section walks participants through all the steps necessary to design a curriculum for specific populations. 

By the end of the workshop participants will leave with several curricula outlines.
