Training Logistics: Advocate Core Training

February 21-24, 2012

Day One–  8:30am to 4:00pm 

Day Two–  8:30am to 4:30pm

Day Three– 8:30am to 5:30pm

Day Four- 8:30am to 3:30pm

 

This training is broken into 2 parts:

Part 1 - A 3 hour online tutorial that you must complete prior to attending Part 2 of this training. You will get access to this online tutorial when WCSAP confirms your registration for the training.

Part 2 - a 27 hour in-person training. The training content reflects a philosophical approach to services which emphasizes an empowerment model to working with sexual assault survivors.

LODGING:

WCSAP is unable to cover the cost of participant travel, accommodations, or meals. Please contact the hotel directly to make your room reservations.

TRAINING HOURS & CREDITS:

This training satisfies the 30 hours of initial sexual assault training required by the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy. Part 1 is a 3 hour online tutorial that you must complete prior to attending Part 2 of this training. You will get access to this online tutorial when WCSAP confirms your registration for the training. Part 2 is a 27 hour in-person training that takes place in Pasco, WA (Red Lion Hotel Pasco) from February 21st to 24th

COST: 

Members:  There is no registration fee for WCSAP Program, Organizational and Individual Members or OCVA Sexual Assault Contractors.

Non-Members:    $95.00 paid in full is required to register. To learn about WCSAP memberships, visit our Web site at www.wcsap.org or call Valerie at 360-754-7583, x104.

CONFIRMATIONS:

Confirmations will be e-mailed or faxed to participants upon receipt of registration form.

ACCESSIBILITY:

WCSAP makes every effort to ensure accessibility. WCSAP will try to provide interpreter services for participants so please register by February 2nd so they can try to support you at our training.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER

Registration will be accepted until February 9th, 2012 or until the workshop is full.
