Erin Casey, Phd, MSW, is an Associate Professor of Social Work and Criminal Justice at the University of Washington, Tacoma.  Her teaching and research there is informed by a 10-year career in survivor advocacy, sexual violence prevention, and administration. Erin co-directs the Mobilizing Men for Violence Prevention Research collaborative, and is a member of the evaluation team that provides technical assistance to programs in Washington State who implement sexual violence prevention programming with CDC Rape Prevention and Education funds. Erin’s research focuses on sexual and intimate partner violence prevention, and specifically on engaging youth and men as agents of gender equitable social change. She co-authored (with Tatiana Masters) a review of research regarding sexual violence risk and protective factors for the Washington State Department of Health in 2017, and will draw from that work in this webinar.
