The YWCA of Seattle-King County, Community Sexual Exploitation (CSE)/Domestic Violence Unit provides services to adult survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. YWCA CSE/DV program mission is to address the needs of survivors in the sex trade throughout Seattle and South King County. CSE/DV Advocate provide outreach, direct services and support groups, to assist survivors in safety planning and life skills, employment, housing, using a model of best practice trauma informed care with a strength based approach and culturally relevant services.
This position has a social justice component that requires critical thinking through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. Knowing the core principals of antiracism and grounding those principles in everyday work are required job skills and core values.
