Brief Job Description

The Harborview ABUSE & TRAUMA Center (HATC) combined programs have medical, counseling, prevention, training, research and evaluation, and Foster Care Assessment (FCAP) services, with 65 staff including physician faculty, SANE nurses, social work/counseling, prevention, training, and support positions.
Responsibilities include:
Clinical Program oversight of the HATC counseling and FCAP program.
Responsible for processing and complying with various accreditations – JCAHO, CSAP and WCSAP
Ongoing review and development of clinical programs based on research, best practice and clinical outcomes
Provide leadership in the statewide mental health training program development and provide a key role in training and consultation on evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work or other comparable degree AND 7 years post Master’s experience
4 years of experience managing or supervising in a counseling, healthcare or interpersonal violence program
Experience providing training and consultation related to interpersonal violence
Understanding of the Child Welfare System and Criminal Justice System
