In Washington:

Washington LawHelp
provides free legal information and a guide to free and low-cost legal help to low-income persons in Washington, including a directory of legal aid programs by county.
Northwest Justice Project
provides free legal information, advice, limited assistance, representation, community education, outreach, and other community-based advocacy throughout Washington.
Coordinated Legal Education, Advice and Referral (CLEAR)
is Washington's toll-free, centralized intake, advice, and referral service for low-income people seeking free legal assistance with civil legal problems.
Legal Voice
works to advance legal rights for women in the Northwest. They take on court cases with the potential to improve the quality of life for women; they advocate to elected and appointed officials to ensure that women receive fair treatment; and they have a telephone line people can call for free legal information.
Northwest Immigrant Rights Project
promotes justice for low-income immigrants by pursuing and defending their legal status. They focus on providing direct legal services, supported by education and public policy work.
County bar associations
may have a list of attorneys willing to take on pro bono cases.
Washington State Bar Association's Moderate Means Program
is a statewide reduced-fee lawyer referral program. The program is for people who would not be eligible for legal aid services but cannot afford to hire a private attorney.

Center for Child and Youth Justice
advances justice for and enhances the lives of children and youth through juvenile justice, child welfare, and related systems reform.
