Portrait of Kat

Kat Monusky

Prevention & Social Change Manager

Kat has been working in the movement to end gender-based violence for over 15 years; previously providing advocacy for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence at community and campus based local programs, as well as at a dual SV/IPV statewide coalition. Kat is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where she studied sociology and religious studies, and also received a certificate in Gender Violence Intervention.

Outside of the office you might find her... cooking up a storm, working on a (jigsaw, word or number) puzzle, snuggled up with her two chihuahuas, or out in search of trails or spots to swim! And in case it's your kind of thing, she's a Virgo so you could also reach out to her to nerd out about cute spreadsheets & lists, the oxford comma, or other organizational fun.
