Technology Safety Use Safety Net Project

Technology increasingly affects all of our lives and has specific and critical impacts on work with survivors. Survivors often need information on how to be safe while using technology, support around online harassment, and options related to unauthorized distribution of sexually explicit images. Emerging technologies from social media to national databases pose challenges for safety, privacy, communication, and outreach. Advocates have an important role to play in research, options, and problem-solving in collaboration with survivors.
