Training participants will gain a further understanding of anti-oppression informed and trauma informed support and programming for trans and gender non-binary survivors of sexual violence. Facilitators include Talcott Broadhead, guest facilitator Henrietta A., and guest facilitator from Pizza Klatch. Together, facilitators and participants will:
- Examine and create a vision for trauma-informed agency spaces for trans and gender non-binary young people K-12.
- Identify inclusive practices and language when serving trans and gender non-binary youth K-12.
The Lacey Community Center, located at 6729 Pacific Avenue SE, Olympia, WA 98503.
Parking is free at the Lacey Community Center.
Participants are responsible for planning for their own lunch. WCSAP will provide coffee and tea.
Training Hours and Credits
This training will count as 6 hours of ongoing sexual assault training for OCVA sexual assault grantees.
WCSAP makes every effort to ensure accessibility for participants that request them. Please register 3 weeks in advance to allow time for scheduling interpreters.
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees, and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members. All other registrants will be admitted on a space available basis. Registration is subject to the approval of WCSAP.
Cost for Members
There is no registration fee for OCVA grantees and WCSAP members.

Cost for Non-Members
$75.00 paid in full is required for non-members to register. Payment information will be emailed within a week of receipt of registration form.
Confirmations will be e-mailed to participants within a week of receipt of registration form.
Deadline to Register
Register early as space is limited! Registrations will be accepted until Monday, November 25th, 2019 or until the training is full. WCSAP members receive priority registration.
