Who should attend - Tribal staff working within Tribal sexual assault and domestic violence programs, tribal staff working in social, family or human services, and tribal leaders interested in anti- sexual assault work in their community.
WCSAP is able to offer travel stipends to attend this training.
This training is free and open to Tribal staff working within sexual assault and domestic programs, tribal staff working in social, family or human services, tribal leaders interesting in anti- sexual assault work in their community.
Because space is limited, 2 people can attend from each tribe. If you would like more tribal staff to attend, they can be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted before the closing date if room allows.
WCSAP is able to offer travel stipends of up to $250.00 per tribe. For those traveling over 60 miles the stipends can also be used to reimburse 1 night hotel. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need additional funds beyond the $250.00 in order to attend.
Reimbursement forms will be provided at the training.
We will provide drinks and light snacks in the morning and a full lunch.
Lodging: WCSAP has reserved a room block at the Little Creek Casino Resort, 91 West State Route 108, Shelton, WA 98584 (1-800-667-7711) for a limited number of rooms on May 22nd, 2019 at the rate of $99.00 per night plus taxes.
There is ample and free parking onsite.
Training Hours and Credits
This gathering and learning opportunity counts as 5 sexual assault training hours.
Confirmations will be e-mailed within one week of registration.
WCSAP makes every effort to ensure accessibility. Requests for language interpretation or other accommodations must be made in advance on the registration form.
