REGISTRATION IS FULL
Join us for two days on the theme of self-care, resilience, healing, and personal wellbeing. Build a diversified network of inclusiveness and equitable support/community within all communities of Indigenous, immigrants and People of Color to promote personal wellbeing. Attendees will experience interactive workshops, engage in peer learning, and connect with individuals of the communities with which they identify.
Workshop topics include:
- Racial Healing: Self-Care Tools for the Journey
- How COVID is Impacting Communities of Color
- and more!
This gathering will count toward 12 hours of ongoing sexual assault training.
This gathering is for folks who identify as belonging to Communities of Color, the Black Community, and/or an Indigenous Community. The purpose of this community is to provide solitary, support and wellness for all participants in a safe space. We ask that Managers and Executive Directors in agencies who strive to end sexual violence and racial violence make it a priority for their staff members of Color to attend.
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees [and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members]. All other registrants will be admitted on a space available basis. Registration is subject to the approval of WCSAP.
