En este entrenamiento tendrás oportunidad de repasar y ampliar las prácticas de crear un plan de seguridad, como apoyar a una victima de abuso sexual durante un juicio, órdenes de protección, los derechos de las víctimas en su vivienda, programa de dirección confidencial, y las opciones de alivio migratorio para sobrevivientes inmigrantes. Este entrenamiento es para todo intercesor que trabaja con víctimas de abuso sexual y será facilitado en español, con traducción en Ingles.
Advanced Legal Advocacy
In this training you will have the opportunity to review and expand on the practices of how to create a safety plan, and how to support a victim of sexual assault during trial. You will also be reviewing protection orders, victims' rights and housing, the address confidentiality program, and the options for immigration relief for immigrant survivors. This training is for all advocates who work with victims of sexual abuse and will be facilitated in Spanish, with English translation.

Please note that while WCSAP will do everything possible to meet your accessibility needs, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so if the request is submitted less than two weeks from the event date as it takes time to coordinate the interpreters.
There is no registration fee for OCVA grantees and WCSAP members.
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members. All other registrants will be admitted on a space available basis. Registration is subject to the approval of WCSAP.
