Brief Job Description

The Program Manager (Commerce Specialist 3) will manage the Victim Witness and the Safety and Access for Immigrant Victims programs. This position will administer and manage Victim Witness program funding. This position will administer the Crime Victim Certification Steering Committee (CVCSC), lead the ongoing development and implementation of CVCSC policies and procedures and implement training of law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, state agency personnel, court personnel.

This position works within the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA), who serves as a voice within government for the needs of crime victims in Washington State. OCVA advocates on behalf of victims, administers grant funds for community programs, assists communities in planning and implementing services, and advises local and state government agencies of practices, policies, and priorities.
