Brief Job Description

The main responsibilities of this Commerce Specialist 2 (Program Coordinator) position are assisting the Sexual Assault Services Section with grant program development and implementation, providing technical assistance to community partners with consultation from section manager, monitoring compliance and accuracy of data with reporting to support data driven decisions, as well as managing the full grant cycle.

This position works within the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA), who serves as a voice within government for the needs of crime victims in Washington State. OCVA advocates on behalf of victims, administers grant funds for community programs, assists communities in planning and implementing services, and advises local and state government agencies of practices, policies, and priorities.
