Using popular movies to examine issues of violence and oppression can be a fun and fresh way to engage young people in your community.

- The Hunger Games. "Gender Empowerment" lesson plan developed by The Center for Healthy Teen Relationships, an initiative of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual Domestic Violence.
- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. "Catching Fire For Social Justice" lesson plan developed by The Center for Healthy Teen Relationships, an initiative of the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual Domestic Violence.
- Divergent. "Discussion Questions for Divergent" by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). This resource addresses both the book and movie.
