Step UP! is a prosocial behavior and bystander intervention program that educates students to be proactive in helping others.
Empirical Support
Step UP! has not been subject to any peer-reviewed research studies.
Received a NASPA Gold award and recently was identified as a ‘Best Practice’ by the NCAA Sports Science Institute of national and international scholars.
Target Audience
Undergraduate college students.
Available in two versions:
- one for general student populations and
- one tailored to an audience of student athletes.
Availability
Training and program materials are available online at no cost.
Materials are also available for order in print: Student guides cost $9.95 each and facilitator guide costs $17.95 each. In person facilitator training programs are hosted annually as well.
