Sexual assault advocates are required to attend 30 hours of core sexual assault training. Most programs receiving state sexual assault core and/or specialized funding from OCVA are also required to attend a minimum of 12 hours of WCSAP approved ongoing training annually. WCSAP oversees the approval of ongoing training hours for WA State Sexual assault advocates receiving OCVA funding.
