Patient Care Philosophy:

When traumatic events happen, therapy is an opportunity for the client and the therapist to collaboratively use wisdom, gentleness, compassion and humor to rework the experiences, and change, or at least decrease the ongoing sense of hurt. Through the process of strategically revisiting the trauma memories, people develop skills for coping. They strengthen and build their pre-existing resilience. For children and youth, families are an integral part of the therapy process.
