Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse (CADA) of Island County
Casey Scott-Mitchell is a program advisor at Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse (CADA) of Island County, where she previously served as manager of the Education and Prevention program. Casey has worked in prevention at CADA for the last 6 years, and did similar work at the Women’s Shelter of South Texas before that. Casey has worked in a variety of school and community settings, with various populations, and at all grade levels. Casey has been involved in all aspects of building the prevention program from curriculum development, to facilitation, to structuring program goals and objectives. In collaboration with other prevention staff at CADA, Casey has helped build a prevention program that is currently offered in all the Island County public schools, reaching over 6,000 students every school year.
