Dawn Larsen, MA

Dawn Larsen has been the Director of Projects for the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) for the past six years. She oversees a variety of projects, including the Offender Watch Sex Offender Management Program, the Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification Program, the Statewide Protective Order Notification Program, the Unknown Suspect DNA Project, and the Sex Offender Address and Residency Verification Grants. Ms. Larsen holds an MA degree from St. Martin’s University in Counseling and Community Psychology and is a licensed mental health therapist. She has 25 years experience in crime victim services and has served as the executive director of statewide and community-based sexual assault programs. She has also served as administrator for child abuse prevention programs and child care programs for special needs children.
