Dr. Katie Olvera

Licensed Psychologist

Katie Olvera is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2012. Currently, she has a private practice in Bellingham, WA, where she specializes in working with survivors of interpersonal violence. Additionally, Dr. Olvera is a non-tenure track faculty member in the Psychology Department at Western Washington University. Outside of clinical practice and teaching, she facilitates various trainings to organizations and groups that seek to be more “trauma-informed” in their practices. She is also a member of the Bellingham-Whatcom County Sexual and Domestic Violence Commission, where she participates in efforts to enact positive changes on issues related to violence prevention and justice for survivors.
