Riddhi Mukhopadhyay

Sexual Violence Law Center (SVLC)

Riddhi Mukhopadhyay is the Director of the Sexual Violence Law Center in Washington State. She has represented victims of sexual violence, specializing in working with clients with challenges in accessing justice based on mental illness, developmental disabilities, limited English proficiency, and immigration status. Prior to SVLC, Riddhi worked at the Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel (DAC), representing individuals with mental health issues in criminal defense and in civil commitment proceedings. Before that, Riddhi was a Berkeley Law Foundation Legal Fellow and staff attorney with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), advocating for detained immigrants with cognitive impairments. She provides bilingual legal services in Spanish, and also speaks Bengali and Hindi. Riddhi received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
