Executive Director

WCSAP

Sue has been the Executive Director of WCSAP since November 2020. Most recently, she has led efforts in Whatcom County related to systems change, community coordinated responses, community needs assessments, and developing institutional policies and practices. Previously, Sue has worked at a sexual assault advocacy program, a coalition for healthy youth development, a bilingual school, and a domestic violence shelter. Sue is originally from Ohio and lived and worked in communities in Alaska, Minnesota, Honduras, and Arizona before moving to Washington in 2010. Sue has a Bachelor's of Social Work from Miami University and a Master's in Sustainable Communities from Northern Arizona University. Sue has two children, and in her spare time, enjoys reading, watching movies, jogging, hiking, and connecting with friends.
