Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions (AIMS) Center at the University of Washington 

Tyler has extensive experience implementing measurement-based behavioral health integration programs, largely in rural settings. Prior to joining the AIMs Center staff, Tyler was part of the teaching faculty at John Muir Health's Family Medicine Residency Program. He taught residents how to use a team-based care model to integrate behavioral health into their primary care of all patients. Previously, Tyler was the Assistant Director of Behavioral Health at Valley View Health Center, a rural Federally Qualified Health Center in Washington. Tyler worked at VVHC for 5 years serving low-income adults as well as Spanish-speaking and LGBT patients. He is dedicated to the integration of culturally-informed care in all aspects of training and program development. Tyler has a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Western Washington University.
